The mixture of resin, filler and reinforcement turns to paste under designed temperature. The paste flows onto a film and the chopped glass fibers are evenly dispersed on the resin paste, then another layer of film is used to cover the paste. Compact the paste and films with rollers to form sheet molding compounds.

This production processing mainly produce high-volume thermosets and better to produce large quantites ,let's say...more than 10,000 parts.
Be widely used in sheet molding compounds for example.SMC panel water tank,truck body etc.

BMC process
A bulk compounds of BMC chopped strands, resin, fillers, catalysts are used for compression machine or injection machine to form its designed finished products.
